Concept
We are moving from counting to 5, all the way to 20. The 'Teen' numbers are the hardest because they don't follow a simple pattern.
Activity
The Ten-Frame Flash! Draw a grid of 10 boxes. Fill it with spoons/counters. Then place 3 outside. Say 'Ten and three... Thirteen!' Do this for 11-19.
